Outward Travel, What To Expect:
Before the driver leaves to collect you: The driver will text you (on the number you provided at booking) telling you the type/colour of the car, the registration, the name of the driver, the pick up location and time, and the remaining fare required (if any).
10-15 Minutes before planned departure time: The driver will arrive, knock on your door, introduce themselves, give you a final checklist card to help ensure nothing is forgotten, with a few last bits to check before leaving (passports, locks, cooker etc), and deal with the remaining finances. Once all these are completed, then the driver will make the vehicle accessible to you.
5 Minutes before planned departure time: The driver may help load the vehicle, however if your luggage is either fragile or heavy, this is your responsibility, as we do not wish to damage either your property, or our drivers. The driver will supervise and advise where is best for your luggage. Please follow these instructions as they are trained for where and how to load things. If the driver's instructions are ignored and things get broken, we are not liable.
Before departure: The driver will give a final check to the luggage, that all passengers are wearing seat belts (a legal requirement that we will not drive without), the driver will also deal with any of the agreed extras that have been purchased. We do not encourage our drivers to up-sell any of these, however if you decide at this point you want one, please inform the driver. Some of our drivers may offer them regardless as a courtesy, which we allow.
During travel: You will then be transported safely, within the speed limit and taking road conditions into account, to your destination. If your journey is at night, in fog, or any other adverse conditions, please be safety conscious and allow the driver to fully focus on the road. We acknowledge that general conversation is typical, but drivers are instructed to prioritise your safety above all else . Any political, religious, or any other views expressed by our drivers are their own, not of our company. We do not bar our drivers from talk about about any topic with a receptive customer, but their views are their own.
Upon arrival at your destination: Your driver will find somewhere safe to stop to let you out and unload your luggage (please see above re luggage). The driver will not stop somewhere that will block traffic, so in some cases the drop off location may be a few more steps than in other cases (such as streets with no available parking). We aim to be as accommodating to our customers as possible, but we can not be a problem for everyone else at the same time.
If you have a return trip: Your driver will find somewhere to park up and await your instruction that you are ready to be collected. Your trip will then continue when you are done with what you travelled to do.
After you have finished: Please pass on your positive experience to your family, friends, and work colleagues. If you somehow have a negative experience, please get in touch so we can figure out what has gone wrong and try to fix it, both for yourself, and for future customers - we cant fix issues we are not informed about. The largest majority of our customers have a great experience, and we sincerely hope you do too!
