By placing a booking with us, you confirm acceptance of these cancellation terms. We do not offer 100% cooling off periods - Details are below. All reductions in your refund are to cover some of the costs suffered by the business due to your cancellation. All figures are the maximum we retain, and if another booking takes your place in the mean time, we will be able to offer a higher refund amount. All costs and losses are retained in our records.

For all of the below situations, if the fare has been paid in full it is only the mandated deposit (typically 50%) part of the fare that is considered for all the calculations and reductions, not the other section of the fare. The non-deposit section is always refundable, regardless of timings.

Cancellations Within 72 Hours (3 Days):

If you cancel your booking within 72 hours of the scheduled pickup time, your deposit is non-refundable.

However, if the cancellation was due to circumstances beyond your control, and you provide a valid reason with supporting evidence, we may offer to credit 80% of your deposit towards up to 3 future bookings within the next 12 months (20% kept to cover admin time and lost booking opportunities).

You do not need to book right away. It will be put onto your account and be available for use on up to 3 trips in the next 12 months. In this case, a new deposit will still be required for the new booking(s), but the previous deposit will be deducted from the final fare when it converts from an accepted booking to an active trip. This credit is discretionary and subject to review and reasonable discretion based on the evidence provided.

If you are certain you will not be travelling again and cannot use the credit, we can instead offer a partial refund of 75% of the deposit (25% kept to cover admin time and lost booking opportunities).

Cancellations More Than 72 Hours (3 Days) in Advance But Less Than 168 Hours (7 Days) in Advance:

If you cancel more than 72 hours before pickup, but less than 168 hours, and do not provide a valid reason, you may choose one of the following options:

If you provide a valid reason, however, then you may receive a 90% refund (10% kept to cover admin time and lost booking opportunities), or 95% credit as above.

Cancellations Made More Than 168 Hours (7 Days) in Advance:

The refund amount will be 100%, minus any card processing fees (if paid by card), and/or minus any fuel and time spent demonstrating the vehicle or collecting the funds from the customer. This fee would be the Peterborough private hire price from Peterborough city centre to your address. Bank details should be offered for a bank transfer for any funds.

Non-Booking Related Deposits:

These are refunded at 100%, in the same way as a full-fare payment is. Examples of these would be the pet remediation deposit.

Multiple Cancellations (Under 168 Hours in Advance):

Should you end up cancelling with us, we will require a larger percentage deposit on your next bookings until we see reliability on your part.

We want to be as forgiving and reasonable as possible, but cancellations harm our business if not done in plenty time, which me must pass onto customers who repeatedly cause us losses.

To book with us after an invalid reason (see above) cancellation, an additional 15% of the fare will be required to confirm the booking (65% in the first instance).

If there have been multiple (2 or more) cancellations, regardless of reason, we may at our discretion, in no particular order:

Any cancellation before the 168 hour mark (1 week) do not affect this, and are not counted.
