Animals may be transported, but only under the following conditions:
They remain safely secured for the entire journey, prevented from moving around the vehicle and interfering with the driver in any way.
The customer provides a sheet to protect the vehicle from any mess or damage.
We are informed ahead of time at the booking stage.
It is appropriate to transport such an animal in the vehicle.
Assistance animals must be proven to be such at time of boarding to be classed as such.
There is an extra charge of £30 per journey for each animal. For non-caged animals, a cleaning and damage deposit of £100 is also required, refundable after the journey if no issues arise, or used as part-payment of the resulting remediation charge.
Assistance animals are exempt from most of the above requirements, including providing protections, extra charges or deposits under the Equality Act 2010. The remaining requirements are still included. If an assistance animal causes any mess or damage beyond normal expectations, requiring remediation, our standard remediation policy will still apply. They must still be fully disclosed during booking so we can provide the necessary protections.
Any animal not highlighted during booking will be refused, regardless of status or requirement.
